The children's home built in 2009-2010 is in the background of this beautiful field of greens.
The first picking was given to a nearby pastor as a tithe and the rest was cut and cooked for
the South Sudanese children living in Kenya under Pastor John Garang's care.

Feeding over 100 children each day

is a challenge.  Pastor John buys in bulk and divides it.  Beans provide protein and the maize meal or "Ugali" fills the empty stomach.  The children love it!!
